This month we have been very busy during ABL.
We have writing our own play scripts. How creative are we ? We have acted out the story of ‘The Sun and the Wind’ in our play groups. We also pretended to be the characters ‘North Wind’, ‘Sun’ or the ‘Man’ and prepared questions for our Hot Seat task next week. Using the Lego, we have made these characters also!
We have been using the Base 10 to make numbers up to 100 and even making our favourite pizzas to develop our understanding of fractions! Mrs Merron, the maths coordinator will be so proud of us.
In Drama we have been taking on various roles. When we work in the Winter Café we use the correct money to pay for our food or maybe the cashier has to work out our change.
As it’s Saint Brigid’s Day soon we have been making large Saint Brigid pictures using patterns and different papers.
We are so busy in this class!
