Year 5 Mc. Allister had great fun investigating with wires, crocodile clips, bulbs and batteries. First they had to make the light in the bulb light making a basic circuit.
Next they had to carry out an investigation to find out which materials were conductors and which were insulators. They had to predict which material they thought would be conductors and which would be insulators. They had to record their predictions and their findings.
Finally they got to make simple electrical switches with cardboard, paper fasteners and a paper clip.
