On Friday Paul Howard visited P2 O'Prey. First he told us that he was an illustrator. We knew an illustrator draws the pictures in a book and an author writes the words. He drew the pictures in the book, "The Owl Who was Afraid of the Dark." Next he told us step by step how to draw an owl. We were great listeners and he was impressed at how good our drawings were. Then we added detail in the background. Some children did stars or the moon and even a witch. Finally we said goodbye to Paul. We had a great, relaxing art lesson.
