Today we got to plant bulbs with Mrs Kinney. We got to look at the bulbs first and see the picture on the package of what the flowers will look like once they grow. We looked at the plant pot first and noticed it had holes in it for drainage, so the plants didn't get too wet. We then filled the bottom of the pot with some gravel. We then put in some soil. Finally, all got to plant the bulbs making sure to put it in the correct way so the plants roots would grow down. We then had to cover the bulbs with some more soil to bury them. We will have to wait some time till the bulbs begin to grow. We must wait until Springtime. Mrs Kinney then helped us plant some flowers on top and a small ever green tree, so we have something nice to look at. She said we had to make sure the plants got plenty of water but not too much. So, we will look after them and watch with anticipation to see the shoots in Spring!!
