Christmas Jumper Day in Aid of Charity- Children's Cancer Fund and The Simon Community
On Friday the 21st of December, the last day of term, we had a Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Charity.
The money from Year 3 children was donated to The Simon Community who come into school to talk to the children about homelessness as part of their Houses and Homes topic.
The remainder of the money from Year 1,2,4,5,6, & 7 , a whopping £460, was donated to The Children's Cancer Fund on your behalf. Everyone looked very festive in their Christmas gear. All the staff joined in even the head Elf, Mrs Quinn. Thank you to Mrs Kennedy who organised the event.
On behalf of all staff and the PTA, we would like to thank all who have supported us this term in our fund raising for charity and with fundraising for the PTA School Fund. We greatly appreciate all your contributions and do not take your donations to the school for granted. We greatly appreciate the efforts of the hard working, enthusiastic PTA and the support of our parents and businesses in the community. Thank you.
We would like to wish you all a very happy Christmas/ happy holiday and best wishes to all in our school community for a happy and healthy 2019.
