Anti-Litter Workshop By Sara & Rory Yr5McA
There was a man from Belfast City Council called John. He was here to talk about litter. When he came in he showed us a PowerPoint about how long litter was around and we found out that litter had been around since the cavemen but back then litter was mostly clothing or bones. Then we played a game where there were six volunteers were Danny, Seamus, Rebecca, Uillieac, Oratile and Eva. We had to put different types of litter into different buckets the buckets were 3 months or less, 1-20 years, 50 years, 200 years, 450 years and 1 million years. It was fun and we got to see how long it took for litter to disintegrate. We think that everyone is our class will think twice about what we throw away and how we do it.
