P7K are working very hard at their Maths. After spending the morning at a Maths Workshop we headed back to class to explore Volume.
In our groups, we explored a variety of cuboids to investigate ways of calculating volume. We started off filling the boxes completely with the cubes.
We then realised there was a quicker method, so we changed to only focusing on the length, breadth and height of each box. This was quicker yet still as accurate. We presented our findings in tabular form and then had fun creating new cuboids and drawing them out!
