Year 7 Gray - Modesty Assembly
Recently P7 Gray did an assembly on modesty. It was about an Emperor (Louis) who was very vain, two hosts (Eva and Lucy) who showed the Emperor what not to wear. There were suspicious tailors (Lucas and Fakhri) and a not very clever Prime Minister (Christopher) who didn’t have the nerve to tell the Prime Minister that he was vain. Our Assembly was based on a TV show called ‘What Not to Wear’ directed by Aodhan. It was based in a classroom in a local school, with a teacher (Eve) and a class of pupils. The main point of the Assembly was to encourage everyone to be modest and not be vain like the Emperor and not show off when we achieve. It was a very fun experience and we enjoyed rehearsing for it – thanks to Mrs Gray.
