On Wednesday 2nd December all the Year 7 classes were invited to a taster morning in Aquinas Diocesan Grammar School on the Ravenhill Road.
Hard to believe that ‘Big’ school can be fun. Learning about circuits in Tech class was pretty easy as we had done that at St Bride’s in Year 5! Physics was just the best because we got to experiment with light and colours and also worked out how different metals produce colour to identify them.
In the Art class I got to work with Shane on designing our very own Christmas cards. The Art teacher gave us step by step instructions. Shane made a snowman picture and I created a bell picture. We used a roller cover with coloured ink then transferred our template to our folded cards.
When Aquinas mails us our cards we are going to bling them! I plan to give mine to my Mum so she thinks of me every time she looks at it.
