Our P6 hurlers travelled to the Lisburn Leisureplex last Friday to participate in a hurling blitz. We entered two teams and had a great morning with some wonderful scores and skills on show. We look forward to our hurling league starting later this year. Here is a report from Techin and Daire
On the 3rd of February 2017 some Primary 6s were taking part in a hurling tournament at the Lisburn Leisureplex. There were 6 teams of six and two groups and two St Bride’s teams. The first team was: Techin, Conor, Joe, Daniel, Isaac, Archie and Finton. The second team was: Daire, Ronan, Setanta , Fiachra, ConorMcK and Patrick. The first team drew 2, lost 2 and won 2 games. The second team won 2, lost 3 and drew 1.
Our coaches were: Mr Cunningham and Frank Mc Gurk. They were very good and helped us a lot. After all that we came back to school very delighted with how we played.
