Year 4 O'Doherty Greene Assembly
Today we had our assembly. The theme of our assembly was “What is precious to me?”
Everyone in the class had an important part to play. The main character was a boy called Ben who was so worried because he could not think of anything important to bring in to class. Grace brought in castanets because they reminded her of a special family holiday in Spain.
Nafisa brought in an electric guitar as it reminded her of a wonderful birthday present. Ben thought and thought. At last he decided to bring in something very special. Everyone wondered what this special thing could be. When it was Ben’s turn, he revealed that his special gift was his very own little sister. All the children realised that the most important precious gifts are family, friends and loved ones.
