Year 3 Young Celebrate World Maths Week
21st Oct 2016
What a week in P.3 Young. We celebrated World Maths Week by taking part in a maths trail. We looked at shapes outside in our environment, we found large, small and odd numbers. We even made patterns with leaves, stones and twigs. We never would have thought maths could be so much fun! Inside the classroom we estimated steps, added and subtracted. We found that the longest name in our class was Riddhima – she has 8 letters in her name! We all enjoyed ourselves and best of all – we had a lesson outside in the fresh autumn air!
