Mrs Griffiths-Hawthorne’s class had a great time in Cultra learning about houses in the past. We met Mrs Ferguson who showed us how to make soda bread with flour, baking powder, salt and buttermilk. We watched Mrs Ferguson cook the soda bread on the griddle on the fire.
We also met Julia in the laundry and she taught us how to wash clothes without a washing machine!!! It was hard work but good fun.
