The Fire Authority came to visit P.2. as part of our ‘People who help us’ topic. They showed us all the equipment they use during a fire including fire hoses, cutting machines, their fire engine, gloves, helmets and boots. They told us they save people in car accidents and put out fires in buildings. We were all lucky enough to use the fire hose and Miss Mc Dermot and Mrs O’Hare even tried on the Fire Fighters uniform!
