Year 1 Wynne Visit Streamvale Farm
On Thursday 16th June, we went on a visit to Streamvale Farm. It was a super day!
When we got off the bus we met Jenny, our leader, and she showed us all around the farm. We got to feed a lamb and a kid (baby goat!) some milk from a bottle. They were very hungry!! We were able to go into the milking parlour and we saw the farmer that works on the farm. We went on a nature trail, were we saw deer, ducklings, geese, goats, pigs, rabbits and hens. We even got to see a peacock showing off his beautiful feathers, just for us! We met Buttercup, a pretend cow that we were able to have a go at milking. Then we got to pet a puppy, a chick, a duckling and a rabbit. They were so soft! We had our lunch and before we left we got some time to play in the play park.
We had such a great time, that we didn’t even mind the drizzle!
