In Primary 1 we have been learning lots about Space. We loved learning about the planets and our Solar System. We even got to visit the Armagh Planetarium that we really loved! Our play area was transformed into a space station, where we dressed up like astronauts and made rockets from our building blocks. We made our own aliens at the craft area, some friendly aliens and some scary ones, and we even made aliens out of play dough and K’nex. We did beautiful space paintings, of rockets, planets, aliens and astronauts! In class, we wrote lots of sentences about Space and facts about our Solar System. Miss Wynne said our work was ‘Out of this world!’
