Now that we have learnt 11 sounds this term we are busy using all these sounds to write real words!
We start by ‘stretching’ the sounds and moving our hands out as we make each sound, then we ‘squeeze’ the sounds back together to say the real word e.g. f-a-n……..fan
We all do this together on the mat before going to our seats and having a go writing this on our own using our whiteboards.
We have written lots of words using the sounds s,a,t,p,i,n,m,o,c,f and r.
You could have a go writing lots of words at home using these sounds. You could try ‘stretching’ and ‘squeezing’ words like tap,cat,mop or pin.
