Primary One Mrs McNamee Building with 3-D Shapes
21st Dec 2017
This week we have been learning all about the properties of some shapes. We know you need lots of rectangles to make a cuboid and two circles at the top and bottom of a cylinder. A cone is an easy shape to remember because it looks like an ice cream cone!
The Seal table were busy using our colourful 3-D shapes to build lots of different shaped castles.
Over the Christmas break take a look around your home and see if you can find anything in your house that look like our 3-D shapes in class. Some of your presents might even be shaped like cuboids or cylinders.
Happy Christmas!
