P5 McAllister Measuring Capacity Experiment
10th Apr 2017
Today Mrs McAllister’s class were experimenting with measuring capacity. On our desks we had a few different sized containers, from water bottles to soap bottles and large bowls to small tubs. We used a funnel when pouring water from one container into our measuring flasks, in an attempt to minimise any spillages, this worked most of the time. After a few mishaps when measuring the capacity of larger containers we started to be able to estimate how much certain containers could hold, we now understand how to measure capacity.
