On Wednesday 29th March Year 2 McDermott held a prayer service. All the mammies and daddies were invited to join us in our class room. First we lit the candle and sang a song. Next we all said a poem about stories. Then some of the class read out their favourite things the liked to do and held up colourful pictures to show the parents. Following that, Miss McDermott read out a bible story and some of the children in the class read different pieces from the bible. Finally we sang a hymn about Jesus being a miracle man and ended our service with a special prayer. Our mammies and daddies clapped loudly and said they really enjoyed our prayer service.
