This week for our second task at Maths Task Time all the children were able to have a go at making a picture or patterns using magnetic shapes. Lara made lots of colourful patterns and Sophie, Kathleen, Damian, Aphia, Ming Qi, Erin and Hugh made pictures of butterflies and flowers. When we were using our shapes Mrs McNamee was talking to us about what we were creating and asking us to count the sides and corners.
At home go on a Shape Walk and see all the shapes you can spot. You could count the sides and corners also.
