We are busy trying to learn all of the words in our Word Books and Word Wall. To help us do this we have a dice game we can play on our own or in pairs. In the photos you can see the Dolphin Table playing this game.
We have a special dice with the 6 characters’ names on each side then we roll the dice, read the name and put a counter on top of the matching character’s name on our baseboard. We keep throwing the dice and placing the counter in the box above the character’s name until it reaches the top.
The character that reaches the top is the winner!
You could ask an adult to put stickers with the character’s names on a dice at home and rule out a page with the names along the bottom, use a box of buttons or Lego instead of counters and have a go playing this game at home.
