P1 Merron Patterns
This week during Numeracy Task Time we have been looking at patterns. We have been continuing patterns and making our own patterns. We have used colours and people to make big patterns.
You could try to make some patterns at home, you could use lego to make a pattern or even use your spoons and forks e.g. spoon, fork, spoon, fork, spoon etc. Count how many of each object or colour you have used in your pattern. e.g. I used 4 yellow lego pieces and 3 red lego pieces (use touch counting to count each object - touch each object as you count out loud). We have also explored patterns using the big white board playing this game http://resources.hwb.wales.gov.uk/VTC/simple_patterns/eng/Introduction/default.htm
You could have a go at home too!
