Yesterday we had some super hero's doing take away sums. We set up a mini bowling alley using 6 skittles. The boys and girls had to see how many skittles they could knock down. They then had to write a subtraction sum. The boys and girls all remembered what the minus sign looked like and they didn't forget the equals sign.
You could try this at home with some water bottles and a ball.
