This term we have been learning all about space in World Around Us (WAU). The children have loved sharing their facts and knowledge. They have learnt lots of new information about space and have loved exploring the topic during playtime. Here is a small snapshot of playtime recently. You will see some children went to space as astronauts, some investigated moon sand, some made space rockets with the lego and some even found aliens in the jelly. Mrs Merron has been very impressed with the facts the primary 1 children know about space and has learnt lots of new things herself. You will see photographs of some other play areas like the writing table, construction and cut and stick. The children also loved recreating the story 'Jack and the Beanstalk' using masks and toys.
