Even though it is the week coming up to Christmas, Mrs Merron's class have been very busy. This week during task time one group are reading with Mrs Merron then practicing their letter 'r'. One group is doing a letter 'r' cut and stick and using the sound spot to help them think of things beginning with the letter 'r'. One group is completing a Christmas list to Santa, Mrs Merron has been very impressed with our work so far this week as lots of people are using their sounds to write words! (Well done!!) The last group is looking at their syllables, counting syllables in Christmas words then trying to make CVC words using the letter cubes.
