P1 Merron - Art lesson
This week we had an art lesson that was a little bit different. We arrived into our classroom one morning to find all our tables were moved. We discovered that we were going to draw and paint a still life. We had a look at some paintings by a famous artist called Cézanne. He painted fruit but used his artist licence (this allows us to use our imaginations a little).
We all sat in our seats and had a good look at the fruit to start with. We all had different views of the fruit so could see different things. After we had a good look, we drew out the outline of the fruit lightly with pencil. Finally we got to use paint and created our master pieces! They are now outside our classroom looking fantastic!!
