P1 McNamee Cutting Carefully
During our tasks we are cutting carefully with our children’s scissors. At first we cut along straight lines in Primary 1and we were all really good at that! Now we are cutting on wavy lines which is a little trickier but as long as we remember to keep our thumb in the top hole of the scissors and take our time we are getting better and better! Mrs McNamee says we will be cutting zig zag lines next!
At home you could ask an adult if you could have a go at cutting some scrap paper to help improve your fine motor skills. ALWAYS check with an adult before you use a pair of children’s scissors and check what paper you are allowed to cut.
