Outdoor Learning in P O'Prey
1st Dec 2017
On Friday P2 O'Prey braved the cold and headed outside to measure the length of things. The children worked in pairs and recorded their results in their books. First they looked at the object and guessed how long it was. Then they used beanbags or arrows to measure it. Sarah M guessed the cricket bat was 7 beanbags long and it was 5 beanbags long. So close! Tom guessed the stick was 7 arrows long and it was 4. Joseph was spot on when he guessed the racquet was 4 beanbags long. Can you use straws or popsticks to measure things outside?
