Today was the first day of the "Kookinkidz" after school cookery classes for Year 5. It was great fun. We got to make fruit salad. Yum! It was great fun working in groups chopping all the wonderful fruits. There were pineapples, blue berries, strawberries, blackberries, melon and lots of other fruits. The passion fruit was my favourite. We ate as we chopped which was fantastic. We brought them home complete with a cherry on the top to show our parents. I cannot wait until next week as we are going to be cooking on miniature cookers! Thank you Kate and Caitriona.
