Well done to the St. Bride’s Swimming Team who competed in the Irish Minor Schools' Swimming competition in Dublin on the 8th of February.
All the children from St. Bride’s who attended had qualified for this meeting after the Ulster Schools’ Gala in October.
The boys’ and girls’ relay teams did very well despite very tough races swimming against 12 year olds!
Ava and Lottie got individual medals for their events. Ava won silver in the breast stroke & front crawl. Lottie won a bronze in the breast stroke.
The children had a lovely time and did their best.
The school are very proud of them.
Congratulations to all and a big thank you to their mums and dads.
